I'm not the type to stay quiet if someone insults me. First, I'd give them a warning look, and then, I would follow that up with something like, "Hey, could you not say that? That's extremely offensive to me, so I'd appreciate it if you kept your f*cking racist comments to yourself" in a calm manner. That usually freaks them out a bit and makes them shut up because they're not expecting a response from an outsider. Most of the time that does the trick, but what I really wanna do is to get violent. If only the consequences didn't matter... *sigh*

thats kind of a half a question it really depends on there race...if there race and my race have history then i will see the source from witch it came...naturally i would be offended ...but i would refrain from knocking there teeth in...and explain that ...just because a hand full of people that happen to be of the same race do something doesn't mean the whole race does the samething we are all individuals...theres ignorance all around us there will always be a racist somewhere and someone will always be a victim its a visious cycle and you'll be next soon

I'm Caucasian. We are the scapegoats here in America, didn't you already know that? We have been blamed for everything from slavery to racism to the decline of the inner cities to ebonics. We have become the minority here. I don't like it and I do really want to hit someone.

I'll tell him to stop what he is saying and if he continues I'll ignore him.Of course I'll feel so angry and if I just let my emotions get control over my mind it may end in a fight. But we shouldn't waste our time with those people because there will be no benifit from fighting or quarrelling with them.

I'd likely feel a bit hurt and offended

I would WANT to not lose composure but rather retain a dignity of tolerance

I would most likely ignore them but in my head I would be angry and want to hurt the person who said it.

i would ask why.. if you have the right to think whatever you like about others' races.. you have no right to offend them.. discuss what he/ she believe about your race -with some understanding and patience. you'd prove he/ she was wrong.

tell them what books to read assuming they dont get out much, and maybe educate them alittle bit. i take their ignorance as an oppurtunity for knowledge.

I'm white - chances are there's a good deal of truth to whatever statement they're making.
