X-mas....I was 15...a white satin bathrobe....from my mom...we were very poor...so that was the most special gift....she must have really sacrificed for that...that was in 1967 (or 68)

Once, I got a thermos for Christmas. It was the best gift I ever got. Because it was simple and I needed it.

The best gift I ever received was being adopted by my parents. By doing this, they gifted me with a better life than what I would have had in my birth country.

Once I was in a desperate situation and didn't want to live any more. My daughters helped me to survive. I forgot about everything and about my birthday of course. And I was pleasantly shocked when my friends invited me to my birthday party. They told me so many wonderful; words, that I understood I wasn't such a nuisance in this world. It was 14 years ago. and I am still happy. they presented me happiness. I am still happy! Irene
