I'm on here partly out of a sense of curiosity about whether some good question may show up, partly because its kind of a good escape from more important concerns in my own life, partly because its a little fun to try to see if I can come up with a really good answer to some of the more serious questions, and partly because the night air coming in my windows is so nice I haven't wanted to sleep and miss it.
I'm certainly not lonely and sad, but I'm not particularly in a whoop-di-do happy mood either. Neutral - but leaning toward good mood because of the night air.

8:17 a.m. NH time. Just woke up, enjoying a cup of starbucks and feelin pretty good (happy, yeah). I am on here initially to check on a question I asked.
I first started Q and A because I was lonely and confused, not necessarily sad. I don't have many (well practically no) friends I can let it all hang out with.
So what better way to collect feedback that is random, anonymous and for the most part uncensored. This is an incredible forum with people of all ages some serious some joking but all in all I would say honest.
Some of the questions crack me up bad, some scare me...its like a frigin soap opera. And I'm sure it is helping others to feel more connected, as it helps me.
WHAT ABOUT YOU???

I'm on here because theres really nothing else for me to do right now. I have the whole week off because classes don't start again till next week and I so I don't have any homework to do and don't have to be anywhere in the morning. My hubby is in the bedroom playing a video game and I'm just out here asking and answering questions for the fun of it.
My mood = calm, content

Lol, if you knew what was really going through my mind you would have me in a straight jacket!
I am lonely and just looking for something to do to make myself feel a little better and to hopefully help others.

Waiting for a phone call, waiting to be amused by questions and answers, tired of crosswords for mental stimulation...YA is much more fun.Sometimes I've been able to help sometime and that's very satisfying.

This is a fun part of life. At 50, there aren't too many new and interesting things to do.
