so on this bday,urll should hang out to a cool place... u can gift a funky watch..(interesting watches coming in the market,with lights and music).. something like that whch is unique and gives some speacial feeling..!

I'd try something light, funny, or something you know he'd like - a gift certificate to his fav. restaurant/store. If he's a soda pop guzzler, get him a 24-pack and challenge him to a drinking contest, or something.
You could get him a bunch of munchies for when he's just hanging out, or something.
I buy my newer friends lunch around their bdays, or we catch a movie - my treat.
If he has a good sense of humor, or appreciates the random stuff, get him an etch-a-sketch keychain or something like that. You can stay inexpensive and fun and not go sappy or cheesey if you take a minute and think about what you know about him...play up the personality aspect you like, and just let him know you wish him a good bday.

Since you guys haven't been friends long you don't want to weird him out by getting too much or something that cost alot. A bday card and some candy would be enough. Maybe just one of the two so it won't be pushing it. A hug and singing him happy bday is enough I think. You don't want him to think you are tryin to flirt.
