Don't get me wrong. There are some great looking, talented celebs in the business; like Tom Hanks and Mel Gibson (aside from his DUI thingy...I hope he's suspended from driving for awhile).
However, I'm sick of the untalented actors and actresses that permeate Hollywood (i.e. Tom Cruise, Jessica Simpson, etc). Some of them even use plastic surgery to "enhance" their appearance when it does the opposite.

I agree with you,........good acting talent' is almost non-existent. Tom Cruise,......I like his action movies, as long as he doesn't open his mouth. In "War Of The Worlds", Dakota Fanning outshined him, a trillion times over. People like those two clowns have a small window of opportunity, and they are trying to make the best of it why they can. People like Tom Hanks and Mel Gibson knew the formula going in. Right now the mass appeal is geared to pre teenagers, and teenagers,.......that's where the money is. Take solace in knowing,....this too will pass.

Yep. It looks like a circus side show anymore. I guess Hollywood is corrupting people (those who weren't already). Look at Haley Joel Osmet, arrested on drug and drunk driving charges.
