I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Try limiting your dairy consumption.
A 2005 Harvard study found a connection:
"Acne Associated with Dairy Intake…
A new Harvard study links dairy products to adolescent acne. A group of 47,000 women from the Nurses’ Health Study was asked to provide information about several aspects of their diet during high school as well as any incidence of physician-diagnosed severe teenage acne.
Researchers noted a positive association with total milk and skim milk consumption, along with instant breakfast drinks, sherbet, cottage cheese, and cream cheese.
No association was found with several other foods often thought to affect acne, including soda, french fries, chocolate candy, and pizza. The scientists postulate that hormones and bioactive ingredients found in milk may be responsible."

Try Tree Oil at a health food store and they have other herbs in there that will hellp you. Stress can be a part of your life and if you can get it under control it will help, but it is easier then said or done! Try to drink lots of water. They also say that cooked oatmeal [make sure its not hot but warm} apply it to your acne and leave it on until it drys and then wash it off gently not rubbing with plain warm water. Never rub your skin pat it gently always. Repeat this again every day and I hope it helps you!!!

i've stopped using all of my acne-products and my skin has cleared up like CRAZY. i think a lot of us use too much on our face and our skin freaks out. in the morning, swipe a cotton ball dampened with hydrogen peroxide across your face and let dry - don't towel-dry. don't put on any spot treatments during the day, just moisturizer and whatever make up you might wear. at night, use water to remove the make up and do the hydrogen peroxide thing again. NO SPOT TREATMENTS! drink tons of water and get enough sleep.
i've been doing this for the past week and have no blemishes!
hope all goes well!

you should go to a dermantologist or see your doctor. Usually perscribed medicines work a lot better than over the counter
ask your doctor or dermantologist if benza-clin is good for you (not an over counter item). I use it and its great. i think it will work for you too

Anything that has BENZYL PEROXIDE in it - it is the active ingredient that PROACTIV has but you can get it cheaper at chemists (about $15)
