I think that people born within certain signs exhibit similar personality quirks. Not all will, but enough do as to keep the idea of horoscopes popular.

I believe in astrology, but there's so much more to it that our sun signs.

that's what the signs are supposed to do, provide the individual with generalities about the person born under the given sign. doesn't work well, but is an interesting basis for learning something.

I am quite annoyed with that right now. I was on vacation with my family last week, and my niece was carrying around a book on astrology the whole time trying to tell us all stuff about ourselves. Oy.
