A.J. is the greatest, he has a good personality, he is always having fun, and joking around, he gets into the other teams heads, which is good

He got a bad rap in SF. He was well liked on the Twins from what I understand. Has done a good job with the Sox and seems to be well liked by fans and teamates there. He's a good catcher, doesn't compare with guys like Berra or Pudge, but nobody else does either :)

Because he does his job - he irritates the other team.
I'll also take a catcher who hits over .300 and drives in as many runs as he does hitting in the 6 hole. Unlike the Twins, who need Mauer up in their lineup as high as he is, AJ can hit 6 behind the best 3-4-5 in baseball - Thome, Konerko, and Dye.

he's very outspoken, and very competitive. if something isnt going his way he will say whatever he feels needs to be said, even if it is bad. he is a cocky ******, but i like him.
