The shelters will be for goats. Even used materials would be fine as long as they are in good condition. Even used fencing materials like, cow panels, welded wire, corral lumber, gates, used shelters even and maybe even barb wire. Any info would be helpful.

yes go to construction sites,i used to be a building contractor there is alot wasted most is burned or put in the dumpster

Gray wolf has a good idea. Another thing to try is go to someplace like Home Depot or Lowes or a local umber yardand see if they will donate some stuff. Don't expect to get a lot of materials from them but usually that have some stuff they can't sell for some reason and they normally donate stuff to help the community. Good luck!

Call local building supply places. If you're doing some kind of shelter for a non-profit organization, they can donate the materials and get a nice tax write-off and some positive publicity for their companies.

Find a Freecycle in your area, and ask for left over lumber from projects. Freecycle.org is where you look to find your area.

www.freecycle.com.......freeorg.com is helpful and its free look in newspapers you can get newspapers online search your city and surrorunding cityies too
