the site has to begin with "www." and end with ".com .net .org .edu" etc etc..... and it has to be a real site.

actually the shortest url is www.com
its is a search engine..... this is cwlevie on a diff email but it was a question to see if anyone could find 1 shorter

It was www.vk.com, people thought it was www.com, but actually the full address of that is www.www.com, so www.vk.com was shorter, but www.www.com doesn't exist anymore anyway, and there (Or were) are ones with only on letter between the "www." and the ".com" like www.x.com, and www.q.com, and www.w.com, although this info might have changed by now. Also there is www.xxx.co, but that isn't relevant, I just thought I might add it for if anyone wants to check it out ;)
Also while checking out sites, try www.inversion-step.tumblr.com.

I just tried the letters from a thru q and found that www.q.com is a legitimate URL. It takes you to a page for Qwest Communications.

Paypal owns www.x.com it forwards you to their main site but it is a real url.
