Well, I don't want to contradict your doctor, but I think I will anyway. The meds he gave you are for a bacterial infection ( wich I get all the time - usually no symptoms but a fishy smell and greenish leaks ) and what you have seems more to be a yeast infection to me ( itchy, burns, yellowish leaks, no smell ). You can get cream for that at the drugstore.

Its possible that you have a yeast infection. You need to see your gynecologist to be sure. Then she/he can either prescribe something, or suggest over the counter meds.

Eating yogurt with active cultures will keep your body chemistry from developing yeast.

If you are getting these infections alot though, you need to be tested for diabetes. Chronic yeast infections is a symptom.

Cut down on dairy stuff like cheese, milk or eggs... And buy anti-vagina itch cream at your nearest pharmacy..
Meanwhile, cut down on sex, if it still persist after you apply the cream, see the doctor and he/she will give you a pill to be insert into the vagina...After that it will be alright.
