can a refrigerator work again correctly after being layed on its side and oil has got in the line?

It takes about an hour for the oil to gravitate back to the compressor so if you did not plug it in yet you may do so any time now.

whatever you do, do not plug it in, the compressor oil has gone up into the lines, stand it upright and let it set for 24 hours letting the oil drain back into the compressor then you can plug it up and everything will be fine.

yes stand it up and let it stand for 24 hours before plugging it in and it should be ok
