Well, I don't know if this movie is underground but it's old: Race With the Devil with Loretta Swit and Peter Fonda. Very scary!

High Tension. It's french so it does have subtitles but it's worth it. The storyline is brilliant. Once watching it you will realize a few plot holes but nonetheless my heart was racing throughout the entire movie. Definitely a must see!

These are not scarry, but they are in the horror movie genre Saw 1 and 2. REALLY good movies!

sounds like the descent? the place a team of females flow exploring in caves and get attacked via those extraordinary mutant issues. or possibly the hollow? no longer probable a horror action picture nonetheless...

not so much underground as 70's/early 80's- "happy birthday to me" i think is only available on VHS, not DVD. it's my all time fave horror- who is the killer? great twist at the end!
