I sure hope so. I been in the divorce process now going on three years and been alone for two years. I have a lot to offer to the right person. You have to be happy with yourself first and foremost. You are the only person that can do that! If you think that a new love would be the solution then you will fail. Try thinking about your issues first because divorce is not one sided what are your strengths and weakness in your relationship and go from there. I would bet that you have a lot to offer the right preson too.

Absolutely. But be careful with rebounds. Give yourself a year after the divorce before even considering committing to anyone or any single relationship. You soul and heard must have time to grieve properly.

You know when a pet dies, people never give themselves timeto grieve for that loss. Regardless of how long the pet was there. Instead they go out and buy another pet to try and replace only to start with a level frustration that is already existing.

I am not sure what the circumstances of the divorce were, but heal your wounds first and give yourself the time to center your thoughts. Then go out and LOVE the way you want to be loved!

Yes, I have been married and divorced twice.
And IF there is ever to be a next time, I will make sure he is my best friend and not just my lover.
I will also take at least 2 years to get to know him and only marry if I feel that I do know him and how he will handle most situations that come up in life.
There is always the unexpected, so I can not expect perfection.

Yes..I mean a divorce is a very emotionally draining situation but if the right person comes along nothing should be able to stop the power of love. Especially not someone not worthy of yours to begin with.

do you think a person can love? Love is something sublime inside a person.

if you don't, then it doesn't matter whether its before, during or after a marriage.

if you do, then it should apply irrespective of marital status. Everyone is different and a recently divorced persons, mental state and ability to adapt depends a lot on his or her outlook to life, upbringing and ability to love himself and others.
