how old should you be to be in the junior section?

When I think of juniors, I think middle school and early high school. If you like the style, wear it as long as you feel comfortable. Once you get into 11th and 12th grade, you should start having an idea of your fashion style independent from the fads and your friends. You should be able to mix and match from all departments at that point.

Whenever you and your parents agree that you can wear the clothing. At a young age, you could fit into juniors, but that doesn't mean you should. Most of the clothing in the juniors section is more revealing and snug than similar styles in the children's. You can find plenty of trendy clothing in the children's department without having to go with low cut necklines, or high cut shorts.
The main difference between departments is the style and cut. A children's 14 may fit into a juniors 3 and a missie's 2. The difference, the children's is a very straight cut, no curve added since girls haven't developed them yet. A junior's has a very slight curve, and a missie's has a generous one. It's more about your body and if it's appropriate than an actual number.
The next time you go shopping, take your mom with you so she can decide if something is too mature for you, or if it's OK. As embarrassing as it may be, better to know now than to get in trouble for it later.

The junior section depends on style preferance rather tha age. If you want to be hip as these ae the latest fashions go there. The womens section is always at least a season behind with the times for some reason. It's as though the companies figure it takes them longer to adjust to the new looks. :o)

i dont think its age that matters when it comes to clothes..it should be about the fit of the clothes therefor it doesnt really matter how old you are...if the clothes in that section fit you well then shop there but if not dont its a really simple concept to grasp.

i dont tink age matters.. it ur size. i mean i am 17 and i still fit into half of those kids stuff =) and i still wear some of those jeans and stuff from the kids section.

it doesnt really matter age as long as you fit the clothes. but if i had to answer 14 mby15 at least.

it's meant for teenagers but you can wear the clothes at any age just as long as you like them.

13-14 i think. maybe a little younger or a little older but its usually around when you come into the teen years.
