I think it will be icey, and humans will be gone.
edit - starla, the earth has at least 4 billion more years to exist (until the sun grows into a blue giant star). even if a comet hits earth between now and then, the planet won't be destroyed. life forms ON the earth are a different matter ...
environmentalists should change any rhetoric they use that makes it sound like the planet will be destroyed, when in fact, the species living on it are what they are concerned about.

I don't think the world has 50 more years let alone a 1,000. If it is here, perhaps the people of that time will be smarter and care for Mother Earth the way she deserves to be cared for.

White people will pretty much be gone, the brown people will inherit the Earth. The world religion will be Islam so technology will be about the same as it was in 1700.

The way the oceans are being polluted, I'm guessing cancer will be rampant and people will die at much younger ages. The soil will also be very contaminated from chemicals and nuclear wastes.

Well one good bet would be that you would not be ale to understand the language. the way it keeps changing theses days . different words for the same things us older people used to do at the same age.
