First thing you should do is contact your ISP and get your password reset to something completely different. You can see if they can help you with your hacked condition, too, but don't hold out a lot of hope for this....

Unless you're pretty computer-savvy, the easiest and surest solution would probably be to backup your current system using NTBackup or DriveImageXML, reload your OS from your system recovery disks that came with your machine, and then VERY SELECTIVELY restore what you need from the backup.

Otherwise, I have two suggestions, both of which depend pretty much on your tenacity:

1) Go to http://www.merijn.org and read about (then download/run) "hijackthis" and start googling the processes that hijackthis shows are running on your machine. The results of Hijackthis would also be useful if you go to a computer tech forum where they diagnose that sort of stuff. The tutorial is here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/htlogtutorial.html but don't stop reading at the tutorial, its just that the tutorial is a must-read.

2) This is sort of a multi-step solution but go to microsoft and download/install their "debugging tools" and the symbols package for your particular OS, then go to http://www.systeminternals.com and download "process explorer". Use ProcessExplorer to suspend suspect processes one at a time until you isolate the offending process, then google the offending process until you find out what you've caught and how to get rid of it.

FOR THE FUTURE....

Consider buying a hardware router/firewall, like the dlink DI-624 for example: http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6 (its a wireless access point, too). You can still be compromised, but it will be much harder and require you to pretty much be an accomplice in any problems you subsequently encounter.

Since you are saying it is not letting you get to other sites then an online scan won't work. I hope you have been backing up your data, cause I think your only choice will be to reformat in order to break the link. Be sure you are disconnected from the internet when you do it. I mean a physical disconnect.

i might want to confront him in a non personal way. it really is extraordinarily unprofessional, no matter if you probably did sleep which includes his ex he should be mature sufficient to not deliver personal topics into artwork with him. i might want to confront him (staggering to do it in the front of different workers so he has no decision yet to act professional) and easily say "hey, you've replaced my password on my computing device, only questioning in case you may want to please reset it as i'm unable to get into it now". the different option is to purely change your password back and ignore it. He probable needs you to react and also you appear as if the bigger man or woman via letting it slide.

You've been hacked.
Call tech support with all your info and see if they can fix it through remote access.
