She said that he is really old fashion and takes everyones temperature in the butt!! Im really nervous, cuz this sounds odd. Dosn't this sound childish for a 14 year old? What should i do??

No butt temperatures! Usually just the usual check up and stuff. May ask questions about menstral cycle or other things concerning your health as a girl...
Nothing to worry about at all, but it;s fine to be nervous! Your friend is playing with you, and if it happened to her, somethings wrong there...

Ugh. Not childish at all I'd feel weird if my doctor stuck something up my butt to take my temperature and I'm 20. If it makes you uncomfortable say you'd rather he didn't and he should take it another way. Sorry but it sounds to me more like he's a dirty perv then a doctor, I've been to dozens and NONE have ever use a rectal thermometer.

If your 14 you might want to see a "Family" Doctor then to deal with a pediatrition. He is not specialized in the health of teenagers. As far as temp in the butt....tell him to take it elsewhere....he cant do it without your permission, and yoru paying for the visit anyway.
Again i would go see a regular doc and not the pediatrition anyway.

don't sweat it! If they really are going to do that (they nevea did that to me!) you have the RIGHT to ask for a female nurse to take your temperature (that is if they insist upon taking your temp the old fashiond way....)! yes, you have the RIGHT, don't forget that =) so chill, everything will be ok =)

Yes, that is more than odd, it's whacked. DO NOT let that man take your temperature rectally....you are WAY too old for that.
