I want to make bathroom dolls for decor. I will paint the faces, dress them with pieces of "towel" fabric, etc. I got tired of looking in the web for them and I can't find a supplier. The only supplier I got is "Sunshine Discount Crafts", but I already bought their doll and I want something different this time. These dolls have for a head a "wood ball" and the rest of the body is a not painted wooden body. They are about 10 to 12 inches long, and they may have a skinny shape, a country style type of a doll. Thank you all for your help!!!

Unforutatly that is the basis for most of those dolls. Look in the crafts section of a book store the may have other ways to make differt types of dlls that are simple to make out of readly avaible objects.
Like mabey a wire mesh to form the body and a plastic dolls head.
If my one uncle was still alive i could have asked him as he did make dolls and childrens toys.

Are you going to love this. I just bought 500 unfinishded wood dolls for my children to paint and dress for about $200US including the shipping from overseas.

Go to Alibab.com and search for what you want. It is amazing. I had to wire the money to a Chinese bank account and that was kind of scary but I got references first.

I have started importing all kinds of things now..... Handmade earings sold her in the states for $10-20 each cost me a quarter each.

Good luck

Have you tried ebay? I'm not sure where in the world you are but here in Australia, there is a chain called Spotlight. They are an arts/craft & fabric shop. Maybe check your local yellow pages for these kinds of shops & give them a call to check if they have them :o)
