Yes, I agree with you.
Math has always been challenging the minds of human beings, starting with great minds like Pythagoras, through Newton and up to Einstein who tried to explain the universe with a single mathematical equation.
It seems that up to today we have only touched the surface of the understanding of the universe and therefore mathematics. I agree with you completely.

Maybe it will depend on your area of interests.
However, there was this study that shows that if you are good at math you will probably be good also in other subjects like english and sciences. It says that the mathematical ability of one person is the benchmark of him being a genius!?!

Well actually it depends how your mind works. If you are analytical one then you will like Physics, If you like to think too much then Maths is your field and if you like to learn about things then its none other than Chem or Biology.
