My experience of having kidney stones 4 times over the last 15 years says NO. I had to drink lots of water, take vicadin if I had pain, and keep drinking the water until I passed it.

You Need to Drink More Water..Kidney Stones are caused by lack of water. Buy some 1 liter water bottles and drink at least 1 bottle per day..Lay off the sodas. Read this book called "Back to Eden", that tells people how to cure themselves of diseases and conditions naturallly..Peace

Unfortunately, it seems they can't be dissolved with medications. They can be broken into small pieces that pass without pain through various procedures or they can be passed regularly with the help of drinking lots and lots of water.

The answer is yes and no. Not all stones are created equal. Medication works sometimes, medication for pain relief so you can pass them works sometimes, sometimes ultrasound is needed to break them up and sometimes they have to go in and do surgery.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
