when does it become old and antique?

Technically to be considered antique, it has to be at least 100 years old.
Although, the labels modern or contemporary don't last for 100 years, so there must be a term for something between modern and antique. Maybe just old-fashioned?

It really is an interesting question. For example a dance called Waltz falls into a category that is still called Modern (!) I supose it was actually like 100 years ago. However, some people put the same dance (danced slightly differently though) in to the category of Vintage Dancing!

Go figure...\\

I guess something is no loger modern when it goes out of fasion.
