Because when he's so young his father's penis looks so big? I think Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla made this statement once on "Loveline"

No I'm not kidding. I'm asking this as a serious "psychology" question, so please answer accordingly.

Sexual Predator? Dr. Drew is a well known and highly respected doctor, and he said he did this with his sons once (now he has locked away his penis forever). Why would anyone call this abuse?

There is no relating documentation to support your theory. But then again, you probably already know that.

"Oh Minkus, you are so funny! You need no professional to explain or answer your questioin. I am just an average man, but, some of my memories go back to 2 years old. I was sometimes bathed with my father and noticed nothing until I was about 3. I was curious about my sexuality and simply identified with my father because he had all that I had. There was nothing, but, identification ... I was like my father. I also realized the concept of age. He was older than me ... it was obvious ... that's all. Anything sexual remained unknown to me until about 4 or 5. Never once did my father's penis mean anything else besides (1) I'm made like him (2) He was much older than me.
Anyone suggesting something else (like your claims that Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla made that statement on Loveline) is purly exploiting, for some personal agenda, children's sexual cognizance. Everbody has their own experience to teach them what's relative and what is not. Oh yes, I obeyed my father because it was as obvious as hell he knew a lot more about everything than I did. Much of what he told me turned out true.
I have shown my transparency in hope of reconciling your question in an honest, understandable way."

Well, I remember when I was really young and had to use a restaurant's washroom at the same time as my father, I peeked over for a split-second. Did it make me "obey him" as I grew up? Of course not, because as a teenager I wanted to do things my way and was stubborn about it; I never even thought about seeing his penis waaaay back then... and why should I? What's he going to do, smack me with his penis? Anyway, males usually don't equate penis size with masculinity and power until they reach puberty, so if a very young child sees a grown man's penis, he probably won't think anything of it. And since penis size is generally commensurate with age, the child's penis will eventually grow, sometimes as big (if not bigger) than the father's.

Dr. Drew and his sidekick are idiots, and some of the callers are even worse. I realized this even when I was growing up and saw their program on the station formerly known as MUSIC TeleVision.

I don't know the facts for sure, but that doesn't make much sense. Most boys see their father's penis at one time or another. All grow up to be different kinds of people. Some will obey their fathers, some will not.

This is not a factor with discipline, and you should treat anyone that told you such a totally bogus thing with very high degree of caution. If your a father you could get labeled as sexual predator rest of your life if you try it with your son. If your a young person getting told this by their father and it goes ANY further talk to a teacher or guidance counselor about what happening.

That actually does sound like a psychological thing. The way the younger chimps respect the older ones till they are old enough to challenge for authority of the pack. I understand what you are referring to, and since we are "animals" it may be entirely true.
The only problem being that asking something of that nature on here, you are bound to get a bunch of wise cracks instead of actual educated opinions. Sorry about that.

The notion is silly and incorrect. It probably is someone's gross borrowing from the idea of penis envy. A boy will obey a father if the boy believes his father has earned his love and trust. Focusing on the physical of Man is what those who fear to look withn Man do to imagine that they are doing something of meaning.

The only thing i heard about a young boy seeing his father penis is he'll get potty train faster if he see his father go to the bathroom cuz he'll want to be a big boy like daddy. The obey thing is new to me.

And I thought only women obeys and kneels before it.

I believe that it has no effect on the child whether or not he sees his father's penis... rather, they become curious about it. "ah... why is his different from mine?" or "why is his bigger than mine?" or "why is his surrounded or covered with hair?" etc.... A father's obligation is to explain or enlighten his son as regard the differences, and not assume, "Hey little guy, mine is bigger so it's best for you to obey me".

I suggest for you to imagine a better explanation that may be related to the above.

Never heard of that. But it is important to show your children that the body is natural, unique, and special. I think it is healthy for young children to see their parent's in a state of undress. They can ask questions and learn. It's also an opportunity to teach them the value of their bodies, and that they are a private thing. It just teaches respect for themselves and respect for other people.

Maybe you were molested as a child but just can't comprehend it or something? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If anyone does this to their child they should be locked up. Period.
