My favorite decade would have to be the 80s, especially the music. What was your most memorable moment from your favorite decade?

70's because of the music and the dancing, and the family togetherness. We were in a recession so things were tight so instead of going to the movies we made dolls out of corn on the cobs and played in the dirt. We washed our one pair of underwear by hand and they were still wet when we put them on again. Christmas we got oranges and apples and nuts. Its was a cool time.

My favorite was the 70s. I got through my teens, college and into my first job, all in that one decade. It set the tone for my life and helped me become successful. I loved the music, the spirit, and the way things were so much easier to do then.

My most memorable moment? I think college graduation, when I felt I'd really arrived.

The '70s. Young people from across the nation stood up and we raised hell about the war in Viet Nam until the government had to admit to the white wash they were putting on what was really happening. It was a decade when you could wander into a park, anywhere, and share a bottle of wine with anybody you walked up to. You could play Frisbee with a guy 50 yards from you whose name you'd never know and you wouldn't recognize if you saw him the next day on the street. Everybody was high, and the sexual revolution was in full swing. The music was great and, aside from agitating for an end to the war, people were peaceful and calm. It was great if you were in your 20s and passionate and free spirited. If you were a 40 something banker, you probably thought the country was going straight to hell.

I loved the rock & roll from the late 80s. I don't think it will ever come back, but I wish it would. I had a lot of great memorable moments, but I was young then but am into providing for my family now.

The 50s and 60s. Music was Rock N Roll; DA haircuts; Mom & pops soda fountains; ELVIS; James Dean; Poodle skirts; ponytails; I got to see THE BIG BOPER: Buddy Holly Richie Valance before they met their tragic airplane accident....The world stood still when we heard the news...

The Roaring 20's. Chicks sucking up bathtub gin, dancin' the Lindy, skirts up to their knees. Good times!
