It is hard to know beyond rumors but it looks like they couldn't come to an agreement. They pulled the plug on the poor guy. He seems to be history, but you never know with soaps.

I have no idea but he probably wants to retire.
I cannot believe that they killed of Jennifer from As The World Turns, a total waste of talent...she was INCREDIBLE!

I heard that he was getting up there in age and that they thought it would be best to let him go. I know that he didn't want to leave the show but he made the choice to leave the show.

he probably wanted to retire, his roles were small here lately, i thought it would be victor!!! what a twist of story line huh?!
