Depends on what you are piercing. When I got my nipple pierced, my buddy used and 18 gauge STERILE I.V. needle. Always use sterile needles. Be very careful. And know that you can still get an infection even if you are very careful.

Yeah, Dont do it. I did my navel and I was in the hospital because of it. I steralized the needle and everything but it didnt make a diffrence.

dont do it you can get infected and is the pain worth going through? Especially if your trying to peirce your eye brow, you can go blind if done wrong.
