my friend has a "emo" ex online and he says he's gunna kill himself , wut should she do? or how can i help?

and plus, wat he does is real, he said was gunna take 5 sleepin pills and he did, now hes gunna take 16!

well if you friend still likes him then let her tell him how she feels. but if she really doesn't like him at all anymore then i suggest you talk to him and tell him that what he's doing is hurting her, or the other way i.e she tells him that what he is saying and doing is hurting he and making her upset and that do say and do such things would cause her a great deal of pain. frankly, lay it on him not mean guilt but some sentimental stuff that might get to him on some level where he can relate. he just wants to feel appreciated like he has some self-worth and for someone to say that if he goes he'll be missed then it might detour his thoughts. but I'd also get him some help. when someone is a danger to themselves someone is somewhat morally obligated to intervene for them and really that is the best way you can help him is by getting him help since jumping into him world would end up dragging yours down as well.

Call the EMO Hot-line and get some real intervention working. It sounds like we need to get this done.

Maybe this how the population will decrease to normalcy. How many newborns, and elderly are cramped into this small, deteriorating planet. We need to balance this circle.

He's being dramatic, trying to get attention. He is manipulating her emotions. "emo" is just a label. He needs to get over himself, and the attributes that are associated with the label. What you can do to help is tell his parents and let them worry about their "emo" suicidal son, not some poor girl. And if he's online, whats the problem? just ignore him!!!!!!!!!!

If she feels that he is in immediate danger, she should call the police and tell them what he's said.

Then, she should cease ALL contact with him for good, because he is obviously trying to manipulate her emotionally and she cannot continue to allow him to do so. He needs to get help, and he is not her responsibility.

See if he has a plan, if he does, call the police dept and ask them to do a "welfare check" on him. If he sounds serious, she needs to tell his parents or someone that can stay with him and make sure he's okay. yeah, he's probably not serious, but don't chance it.

Well... considering you call him emo... he must have some emotional issues. and from what i have seen from people... they usually are not serious. but you should always take them seriously... you need to talk to him and tell him life is worth living...

mmmm give him anti depresent pills, without telling him. I mean put pills in his meals when he is not aware...Soon the pills will do there work and he will feel better and better and improve....The trick is not to tell him he is have anti depreseants...
