This question isn't for those who are already in shape, and want to stay that way---this question is for those who are NOT in shape and have found a way to motivate themselves into changing their lives to GET in shape.

I have seen a lot of people lose weight and die. they got sick, lost weight and bye now. that was a motivating factor. wanting to lose weight while healthy hopefully will keep me healthy longer. I love life. want to see my great grand-children graduate college, wow, I want to see my grand-children graduate elementary school, or be there when they're born.

I didn't think I was in bad shape until I came to live with my new foster family. Then I saw all his military awards and boxing and semi pro football stuff, and I started working out with him all summer. I went from skater to JV jock over the summer.

The 3 different sizes of pants in my closet and its been a long time since i've used 2/3 of them....

Seeing how my excess weight, and lack of exercise has affected my overall health was the biggest motivator for me.

Put a scale in front of your fridge. Weigh yourself before opening fridge. Find something you like beside "exercising, i.e., kick boxing, belly dancing, dancing class, etc.
