If you know what someone is trying to say why do so many of you find it necessary to correct someone's spelling or grammar? I mean your Americans, your all stupid anyway, spelling good is not going to save you. Do you have any idea how many languages the average European speaks? I am glad you can spell. Well, if it is a minor typo, that is one thing. But half the people on here don't even bother to press the backspace button & it literally takes me 5 minutes to understand what they are asking. I call that laziness. And although I may be young, I do know that assertiveness is what makes you successful; not necessarily how many languages you speak or how well you type. How dare you stereotype Americans. Before you criticize others, you need to check your statistics. We are not all stupid.

Well since you seem so high and mighty about yourself, let's take a look at this one little gem in your post.

Now, should you notice several errors in this one statement. The proper way should be:
"I mean you're Americans, you're all stupid anyway, spelling well is not going to save you."
Now normally, I would not care about your post, but you brought this criticism on yourself. Just an example of why I will correct some people's posts, while not having a problem with others. I only give crap to the pompous *****.

I consider it like this: Many of us here on Answers only speak English. It is the only language we have been required to learn.
It is also the only way we can communicate voluntarily with others of our own species. Is it really too hard to learn to speak and write your own language correctly? How is that asking too much?
Language is often the only thing there is between two people. Miscommunication can be dangerous. All there is between us is words. Get it right, stop making yourself look so stupid, and make the effort to communicate with others of your own species in a way that they can understand.

I do agree, which brings me to my most recent question, everyone has to hate someone. I mess up quite often, so burn me at the stake. Most people that complain will sit their and say how wonderful their life is when in actuality they are so miserable that they are angry with anyone who gives then an excuse. They thrive on misery even though it don't make them feel better it just takes the spot light off of them for at least a min. It's sad i know. I feel more sorry for them I try not to even get mad because it's just feeding them more ammunition. So go on selling sucky! Do worry how is it going to hurt you?
