The three factor model is also pretty entrenched right now: Extraversion, Neuroticism and Psychoticism.

Well, it's not the only one, there have been other studies where they found 6 or even 7 factors in personality. I don't remember now exactly a source, but of these factors was called culture. The problem with any trait personality model is that only described the personality but you can not make any prediction based on it. Good luck!!
