It's not very difficult. If she enjoys being photographed you should have plenty of nice photos of her to make a decent ZED type card (collection of photos with her contact info and stats) It's a mini portfolio on one side with a head shot on the reverse.

Pull out your phone book and start making phone calls. Ask specifically who is in charge of catalogs, run way, etc. I saw a run way show by Gottschalks and I just walked over and said how great the show was and who does the hiring & got a name and address to send my 8 x 10 to with a cover letter saying who had suggested I contact them in RE: modelling.

My friend's baby was on the cover of Parenting a couple months ago! Very cool.
