PID controller uses no external position detecting parts, but instead uses the back EMF generated by a motor in order to determine position
i think u must know what PID controller is ..

My experience with back EMF is limited to DC motors. In those, the back EMF was necessary when starting one to ensure the commutator coils did not burn out. That is, the back EMF was used to keep the current down while the motor was reving up. I certainly got no useful work out of back EMF in those instances. But then that was 52 years ago, when I was a junior in college.
