It's the woman's choice and nobody elses.

Wow, what a controversial question. Wars have been fought for seemingly "less severe" queries.

Let's try to get this straight.

Women libbers will say that "It is my body, noone is going to tell me what to do with my body"

Hmmm. If they are pregnant, then that means that they had sexual intercourse with a man; since a woman cannot get herself pregnant.

Well, this means that the baby is the product of both the man and the woman because a man cannot make a baby by himself either.

This means that the baby's fate does not rest in the hands of the woman. Rather, it's fate rests in the hands of both the man and the woman. It does not matter that the baby is inside the woman. I'm sure that if men were biologically equipped to carry a baby and give birth, that they would do so.

Keep in mind that the Catholic Church, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, all native American religions, and the rest of the 40 or 50 other religions that I have studied recognize a baby as a human life.

Also keep in mind that premeditated human murder only requires that the prosecutor prove that the murderer planned to kill before the killing took place. A co-conspirator is basically the individual who helped the murderer with his / her job.

Are you following me on this one?

Biologically, Spiritually, morally, physically and legally (Roe vs. Wade aside), Abortion is not a "choice". it is wrong, murder, demeaning, and one of the worst excuses for human action that has ever taken place.

As a man and a father, I am sickened whenever I hear about a woman saying that she is pregnant but that she wants to have an abortion.

I will say that this country is based on the premise that all men (generic term) are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights:: Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This means that all Americans have the right to life. It's in the Constitution and that's good enough for me.

So, libbers, put down your lattes, stop smoking so many cigarettes and consuming so much alcohol. You're pregnant with a baby. It's time that you weren't so selfish and showed love for another human being; your baby.
This is what being a 'grown up' is all about. Taking responsibility for yourself and your actions. If you get pregnant, see it through. If you can't raise the child, find an adoptive family who can.

Why is this concept so hard for you to understand?

It's the woman's choice and no one else. What do you think the unborn child would decide? Abortion should not be an alternative to birth control be responsible or deal with the consequences by going through the pregnancy and putting the child up for adoption or maybe once you hold that sweet baby in your arms you will change your mind. Abortion should only be used in extreme cases of life or death situations for either the mother or baby..

if a woman is raped or deceived by her lover, and does not want to give birth to the child, i feel it is her prerogative of that woman whether to go for abortion or to give birth to the child. if she is married and got pregnancy, i think both wife and husband have to discuss the matter and solve the issue amicably.some times giving birth to a child may cause danger to the life of mother and in those cases, the advice of the doctor is to be followed against the wishes of the mother even if she wants to go for abortion.

Absolutely. BUT, after over 40,000 years of modern homo sapien civilization in which women have been so severely reduced, after we finally start to become educated and to attain freedom and the right to vote and begin to express our OWN feminine vision of the world, I am mortified at us for choosing as our first unified expression of our feminine vision such a male/violent paradigm issue as our "right" to end life. And, abortion is a violence to our bodies. We must address the lack of self-esteem that women still suffer that leads them to manage their bodies in such a barbaric way. Women do not have to be barbaric to live in freedom among barbarians. Our true non-violent vision will serve us all better.

It makes me so happy to see that a woman has the right to decide whether her child lives or dies. What right does the child have?

Why such a touchy subject, but in answer of your question it depends on the reason. If she was raped, molested, very young or it might cause her to die I can see. While I don't beleive in abortion it's still her body and not mine.
