I don't expect to ever hear about a contact made with an intelligent life form, though finding a lower life form or hard evidence of a past life form right here in our own solar system would not surprise me at all. The search will take ages and ages to conduct, of course, and there is no guarantee that mankind will ever complete the task... so much can happen.

As for UFO's, I really have no doubt that what we commonly hear about them, of there being a mere hoax or a visual illusion or an error, is probably the real deal. Had an intelligent life form ever been close to our planet it would have made widespread contact with us and the greater world... there would have been much more and much better evidence than the fragments and bits and pieces we're asked to draw our conclusions on. UFOs in my mind exist merely at the hands of a few misguided kooks. They aren't the reality they are touted to be.
