4th of July...you don't have to buy gifts, you can just get together and hang out, do a bbq, etc. kids have parades to go to, you get to see fireworks...all usually free.
No pressure....more fun....

Halloween! I love the kids all dressed up! The decorations! I also love all the haunted houses that we get to walk through when I take my kids trick-or-treating. I really like Christmas too, but halloween is my favorite.
