There is a funny chain email with the title: "You know you're from New Jersey when..." One of the items on the list is "You know that no self-respecting New Jersean goes to Princeton."
I'm from New Jersey, and I'm curious about how true this is (though I know it's meant to be a joke), especially since Princeton is now the #1 university in the country. So, how many students at Princeton are actually from New Jersey? :)

There are 533 students from NJ attending Princeton at the moment there used to be 536 but 2 dropped out to pursue careers in the Rock n Roll industry.

There are the most from NY and CA. I'm not sure of exact figures, but 16% seems kinda high.

im from new jersey and my brother went to princeton and i will be appyling there...ive seen that too ive never understood it...
