Al is not in the business of building racial bridges. He is one of the masons who spends his time repairing cracks in the racial divide in this country. He is nothing like Malcom X. Sharpton MAKES A LIVING off exploiting the racial divide in America. To expect him to be geared toward establishing "bridges" is a farce. Whenever old Al shows his face you can best believe he is receiving a contribution to his prestigious right pocket charity. I think you all might want to revisit a reputable biography of Malcom Little, otherwise known as El Hagg Malik El-Shabazz before making comparisons of his philosophy to the likes of Sharpton and Jackson.

I do want to add something else, however. I understand that Sharpton does cause some racial dividing, but this country continues to give him ammo - there are still more African-Americans going to jail on smaller crimes, yet, White-collar crimes are committed and they get basically a resort, not hard time. African-Americans are still the underprivilege in this country. The public school systems suck, you are still behind the 8-ball when a Black man with a college education can't get the same job as a White man unless you have Affirmative Action, and police continue to abuse their power. Until this country stops with racism, he continues to have the ammo needed.

Because it gets him on the TV news, and money in the tray on Sunday morning. It is the only way he can hold on to some fringe power. To those that blame the whites for their problems, well, go back to where YO people are from and see if your life is better there. Of course, this does not apply to the Native Americans because they were here already, and experienced genocide and all the other things blacks experienced before blacks even knew they were black. You ever hear a black person complain about the way Native Americans were treated? So to the blacks, all I can say is get in line, cause the Native Americans are entitled to more, and before you, for anything owed to them by the government of this country for killing them, hanging them, stealing their homes, raping the women, relocating them where there was no food, no water, no crop land and no obvious way to sustain life.. As far as I am concerned the only people that complain about racism in this country are the blacks. You don't hear the hispanics or the Asians scream about racism everytime something bad happens to them, do you?

I wish he WAS so Malcolm X!!! Sharpton comes off as a phony, with a self-centered motivation. (Guess he learned that from us white folks....) Malcolm X was a brilliant, and at the end of his days, (because of his true belief in the LOVING religion of Islam, and his trip to Mecca) a concilliatory man, who tried to draw people together. He got such a bad rap from the white press that it was years and years before I learned of his true beliefs.
But, isn't your question a little "wrong"? Don't we want bridges built? Or would you rather stay isolated on your white side of the world?

Well I dont know his personal outlook, However in this day and age one must see that there is racial, issues in this country and the civil rights have only been around 40 years years , We have the choice to change the country and where it goes. He sure comes up with some stuff. Think for your self.
