Supposing you mean bar soap, you will need a fat (lard, olive oil, shortening) and lye (can be made from ash but takes a long time).

Or you can purchase soap-making glycerin and add essential oil of peppermint and color if you wish.

If you want to use fresh peppermint leaves, dry them first, then crush finely (a blender works well) and add to your basic bar soap recipe.

Or purchase a book. Be sure when working with lye to follow all instructions very carefully and make certain children are out of harm's way.
