What are some things you can major in or study in college to get into crime scene investigation?

forensics/criminal law/ police science/ criminal investigation... they all fall under - criminal justice / police science major

Your best option would be to get a Bachelors in Forensic Science and have an internship in a crime scene unit. That way you have theory and experience. When it comes to hiring, experience means more than education.

Some colleges have classes on forensics. If yours doesn't, look into Chemistry, Biochemistry and Computers (focusing on computer security and forensics).
