Sony grand vega, can I use split screen with satalite dvr??

I just bought a sony grand vega, I have a new hughes tivo dvr that can record while watching another show, just wondered if there is any way to use the split screen on the tv with the two signals coming in.

Hopefully you got the high definition receiver to go with your high definition TV.

The answer is no. The satellite boxes can only output one program at a time. You would need 2 satellite boxes to do as you are suggesting.
