My guess would either be between green or hazel, but I don't know all the technicalities about eye color and I would really like to know what color to call them. So...what do you think?

Also, I'm looking for good make-up tips to bring out the green more as it's often overshadowed by the yellow. I use the Almay's line of eye products and it's seems to help only just a little...

They look green with flecks, so I would classify them as green. Most people with green eyes have flecks of some other color, not pure green.
Almay's line didn't do much for me either (I have green eyes too). But green and purple are the right colors to accent green eyes.
Just use one or the other, not both the way Almay has them packaged.
Plum liner, lavender shadow to the brow, and plum on the lid works best for a vivid green eye look. Finish with black mascara.
For more a more natural look, forest green liner, beige shadow to the brow, forest green shadow on the lid, brown/black mascara.
Browns, golds, and other colors with yellow undertones can make the eyes look too yellow, bringing out the flecks, instead of the green.
Violet or true purple can be a little too vivid for day wear, but you might want to try them for evenings.
If you can, get the eye shadow in already coordinated compacts. They frequently have the upper and lower lid together in one, instead of trying to find the separate colors that match.
Good Luck!

The makeup of an eye fixed ball is same, technological awareness has proved that for 1000's of years in the past all and sundry on the earth had brown eyes and that colored eyes developed from a genetic anomaly, i think interior the enormous call signs and indications yet some thing like the colour of eyes has little to do with what style of individual you're aside out of your actual visual charm.

Your eyes look like they'd be defined as green. If they were hazel, they would have more brown in them. However, it's kind of hard to tell with just one picture.

As for eyeshadows...I don't think you should wear dark shades of colors, because more attention will be drawn to them than your actual eye color. You should wear light shades, such as a light purple, light green, light pink. Those colors, added with a black eyeliner, will bring more attention to your eyes. You could try smoky eyes.

A great brand is MAC. They have a great variety/quality of colors for a good price (I think so anyway).

In the same way there is strawberry blonde hair-- which is still defined as red. Your eyes are green/gold which are still considered green.

To emphasize the green use eye make-up in the purple family. These really put a spotlight on the green and make them stand out more

I think the colour you have is green..I have green eyes too.Green and purple are the right colors to accent green eyes.,I think you should lavender shadow to the brow, and plum on the lid and plum liner is awsome. Black mascara finishing is what I do and trust me my friends say they wish they had eyes like mine so do what I have written.
Forest green liner, are sometimes totally hot and beige shadow is super too and with that I use brown mascara.
Sometimes golden shadow is good tooo.. and specially ………. get the eye shadow in already coordinated compacts. They frequently have the upper and lower lid together in one, instead of trying to find the separate colors that match.
I wish my information helps you ….oh and if you try my idea it would be an honour
Cuase I am practicing makeup ok
Thank you and GOOd LUCK!!!
hey would you like to be my friend!!!

Whoa. You have REALLY cool eyes. I'd say they're green. I have green eyes too, and to bring out the color, I use a shimmery gold eye-shadow. Also try to wear more green shirts and sweaters, because your eyes will reflect the color.

You have beautiful eyes. Be happy with what you have. Your eyes have multiple colors but mainly they are green. There is a hint of blue to turquoise color and you can actually make them stand out depending on the color of your tops/shirts.

Wow, your eyes are so gorgeous! I wish I had eyes like that instead of boring brown.

I'd call them green because hazel is more of a mix of brown and green. Your eyes are shades of green.

To me, they look green.

I have blue eyes, so I don't know much about green. But I have heard that purple/plum colored eyeshadows are good for green eyes. If you go to CoverGirl.com, you can do an online consultation, and they'll tell you what colors and techniques shuold be good for you.
