You should take food with any vitamin, because taking them on an empty stomach makes you want to throw up.

Prenatal vitamins always made me really ill. It helped when I drank a full 8oz of water afterward. I put a few drops of lemon juice (the kind in the plastic lemons at the super market, not lemonade) in my water and that little bit of sour helped too. I also tried to take them at different times. I was really sick throughout both pregnancies and I just kept trying different times for a week or so each. That actually seemed to help too. Just don't take them right before bed, you'll get terrible heartburn.

Yep, they made me feel sick too... i stopped taking the things then i felt much better. No, i don't think it was a bad idea to stop as at least then i could eat proper nutritious foods that have plenty of natural vitamins and minerals and actually keep it down. I had a perfectly healthy baby. Bloody vitamins.....this country is obsessed with them!

The OTC ones are basically as sturdy because the prescribed ones. The OTC ones have each and each of the supplements that you and infant want. The prescribed ones oftentimes have slightly more desirable supplements in them. So both way your sturdy. i'm getting the single an afternoon prenatal supplements, $13 for a month furnish. They shouldn't take that long to make you sick. Maybe it's just morning sickness. Either way taking them with a nourishing meal with protein and milk will help absorb certain ones. And natural ones usually have more minerals than regular over the counter ones.
Best of luck and congrats!

Try them with a few saltine crackers. Do the crackers first with a little 7-up. Take the vitamins shortly thereafter during the time you are least likely to feel nauseous.

Congrats!

If they make you too sick, my doctor told me to take 2 Flintstone vitamins a day instead. That's what I did and my daughter is 3 and very healthy.

Take it with a meal or a snack. A peanut butter sandwich is a good alternative to a full meal. They will make you sick if you take them on an empty stomach.

It may not be the vitamin making you sick. If it is, perhaps you need to switch to a different one, maybe one with less iron.
