yep it work. just be sure you don't have evil intentions towards the person you are going to date online.
Many people like to say it's bad, what evil things might happen & that give many good kind people who date online sincerly a bad name.
Judge for yourself about the other person. Take a long time like some years.

no, not unless you know them first then just use the internet to keep close. There are too many things people can shift the truth on. Rarely is what you see what you get. How often do you look at the match.com or yahoo or whatever sites and see someone for who they really are in their profile. It's a joke.. all be it a scary one. And then there's the ones who can only maintain an internet relationship cause they are so antisocial but still need a connection.. Now that relationships gonna go far!!!!! I thought I found the love of my life and we went back and forth for four years, met after a year or so and that was good, and we even became engaged and took turns traveling back and forth once a month.. Texas and California. When it came time to sht or get off the pot . He began a whole conspiracy to discredit me because he had cold feet... I thought.. But without knowing his day to day encounters I did not pick up on the other side of him that he kept in the closet.
Long story short,...He did not want to give up his dark side and because the internet was not as sophisticated as now with all the voip and long distance availability... I was unaware of it. So there . I say no. someone else might say different, Good Luck,

It is always better to meet someone face to face and become friends...so many people have been hurt and some have died meeting over internet...No one really tells the truth and it is a scary thing meeting them....

it did for me and my husband... we started talking 2004 and finally tied the knot this year.
it was really scary at first, but it went on just fine... he went here to meet me and make sure that i was for real... had a good time here, met my parents... went back for our wedding preps.. and now we're married... Happily Married...
He lives in the US, I'm from the Philippines...
