Women want to cuddle, feel safe, and be able to fall asleep knowing you are there. Kind of a security blanket type thing.

I don't. Plus I sleep alone so I don't care what he is watching. I think all couples should have thier own room. If you want sex we can meet in a room. I need to be alone sometimes and I like watching my TV at night. I couldn't stand someone nagging for me to go to bed or turn the TV that isn't normal!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF I was married, I would not nag my husband 2 go 2 bed when I did. I'll tell u why...If I wanted some from my husband that nt, I'd want to go to bed first to "get ready" for him!! Sweet Dreams Y'all!

Because some husbands seem to have no sense of time or responsibility of how much sleep they need! To tell you the truth, I just can't fall to sleep without my husband beside me. It's a habit I guess. Expecially if you have kids and need your sleep! You don't want to have a cranky man the next day!

I don't. My husband often watches tv at bedtime. I could care less. If either of us want sex, the tv will go off or be totally ignored with the quickness.

makes me wonder too...i'm not married yet but my girlfriend almost always does that...and it really annoys me...
Whenever i'd like to watch some more TV and she's sleepy, she'll start nudging me and tell me that we have to sleep already. As if I have the bed in my pocket and she can't do it alone.

because we know that the husband will be up to late and then be nasty the next day, or be late for work, or fall asleep and get a sore back and whine about it.

My mother does it because when my father comes to bed late he wakes her up and she can't get back to sleep. Then she has to lie awake for hours, listening to him snore.
