People use Yahoo! and Yahoo! Answers from all across the globe. That means that it is different time of day depending on where the user is. When it's late evening in the US it's already well into the day in other parts of the world so it's not that late for everybody.

Not everyone is in your timezone, you know. Its only 9:34 where I am. People post here from all over the world. For example, its 10:04 a.m. in New Delhi, India and 1:34 p.m. in Tokyo (not to mention, its already tomorrow in both places!)
