I tell 'em all:
the HEART of the RED SOX NATION just BEATS HARDER when we are behind!
That is why the RED SOX fans are the best! We don't have to be winning to LOVE OUR TEAM!
GO RED SOX!

HERE'S A NICE JOKE FOR YOU:

On the first day of school a first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Yankees fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Yankees fans.

Wanting to impress their teacher, everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl.

The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, "Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"

"Because I'm not a Yankees fan," she replied.

The teacher, still shocked, asked, "Well, if you are not a Yankees fan, then who are you a fan of?"

"I am a Red Sox fan, and proud of it," Janie replied.

The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, why pray tell are you a Red Sox fan?"

"Because my mom is a Red Sox fan, and my dad is Red Sox fan, so I'm a Red Sox fan too!"

"Well," said the teacher in a obviously annoyed tone, "that is no reason for you to be a Red Sox fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all of the time. What if your mom were an idiot and your dad were a moron, what would you be then?"

"Then," Janie smiled, "I'd be a Yankees fan."

You could say that the Red Sox don't need to win the division to make the playoffs. If you remember, Boston has not won the A.L. east since 1995, and they snuck in the back door as a wild card before lucking out and having the Yankees go into a slump in the ALCS two years ago. The Red Sox, theoretically, could win yet another wild card and still make the playoffs, without winning the AL East--AGAIN. They need to get moving, they are 4 1/2 out of first place in the East and 4 games out of the wild card. The Yankees hung around without three of their best players for a long time, and Boston is hurting without Varitek (Nixon doesn't count, he's washed up and Pena is a much better option).

you realize what, it may be epic if the pink Sox sweep the Yankees in both between the most suitable tournament-ups, and the Rays sweep the Yankees of their very last tournament-up, and the O's sweep the Yankees of their tournament-up, which leaves the Yankees on the golf direction for the submit season and Boston would get the wild card even as the Rays win the AL East. this kind we've the pink Sox, Rays, Twins and Rangers. this is totally available. i'm not a fan of any of those communities,. I purely favor to ensure yet another crew in it this time and that i'll't stand lengthy island or something about it. pink Sox will sweep the most suitable 2 tournament-united stateshostile to lengthy island. you could tell the Yankees are falling asleep. They re not a similar anymore. Mariano Rivera is giving up runs left and precise, the crew is making too many blunders, they're not scoring. CC is the in ordinary words good pitcher, or perhaps he's not all that warm. this is not the Yankees you Yankee followers imagine. They aint goin nowhere this year! pink Sox will overtake them!

I too am a Yankees fan, however I felt the need to emphasize how cute that term you used is... the rotten yankeeness! You're about the only Sox fan I've ever said something positive about... so funny! About the only comeback I recall was 2004, but isn't that enough? Aside from that you know from being a fan that you've had 86 years of misery. That's worse than me being a Bears fan!

My list of honor for Yankee fans: 2001 Diamondbacks. 2002 Angels. 2003 Marlins. 2004 Red Sox. 2005 Angels again. So who is going to knock your Yankees out of the post-season this year, the Tigers, the White Sox or the Angels?

Of course, they will say that the Red Sox will be watching on TV, to which you say, for $210 million of George Steinbrenner's money, shouldn't their third baseman lead the league in something besides 22 errors? That's about the time they swing, so be ready to duck.

Isn't this about the time of the season that the Red Sox usually croak? The fact that they now have a World Series win under their belt isn't going to change that - that was an exception to the rule, not an example. Wait 'till next year......

Remind them of the 2004 ALCS and say they're lucky it's not a 7 game series.
