I'm totally and madly in love with my boyfriend of 1 and a half years. He's white and I'm black but when we look each other all we see in each other is each other's true loves. We receive numerous stares and whispers when we pass by holding hands. We had been ignoring it so far but it reached an all-time high when we were at the beach and making out when a black male teen passed by and said "Are you sure you can handle that fyne piece of ***, white boy?" and then escalated into a fight between my boyfriend and the male and ended with two other boys jumping me and me grabbing a stick and beating the two boys off. I don't know what to do if this continues, I love my boyfriend so much and I won't leave him for anything.

Just remember, they're ignorant, and whatever they say or do, it doesn't change anything. If it makes you feel better, just remember, that person is probably lonely, bitter and will never know the love that you do!

It's very offensive and childish. People need to get over the whole racism thing. If you don't like then fine you don't have to do it. But the people that do it you shouldn't have anything to say about it. Race doesn't make a person. I say what if one day that you are dieing of an illness and need a transplant, what if a person of opposite race is the donor, would it matter then if it keeps you alive? Things are not like they used to be. The younger generation these days are more mature in some ways then there own parents when comes to treating people equally. I also think that a lot of the criticism comes from them wanting to have done themselves but were to scared to admit it,or they were scared they would like it to much. You know what they say once you go black you never go back! Tell them to talk about that one now. Have a good day!

Whether it's a biracial marriage or anything else people are going to find reasons to criticize. The sooner you learn to disregard what others feel about you the better off you will be.
I have realized that I cant do a single project or generate a single idea without someone trying to discourage me. it may be human nature for some to do this, but I hate it! The few people in life who think positive and stay determined, plus know what they want and live it will have inner peace.

It depends on who it's coming from. Is this coming from your family, friends, or strangers? The first two categories are the hardest, but you should explain to them how you feel about their comments/criticism. As far as strangers go, ignore it, there's no need to get caught up in the opinions of those who don't matter. Ultimately it's your life, and you cannot live your life living for other people who don't approve of your relationship based upon that single fact. I know it's hurtful, but communication is key. Best of luck :)

It maybe a problem if you live in Afghanistan or Iran because someone can harm you, but here in US I don't really give a Damn of what people think about my choices. You live for you not for them.
I was involved in a biracial relationship, I remember those criticism, but after my partner and I broke up, the same people who use to criticized us wanted to date or her. TYPICAL HUMAN BEING NATURE

Let people talk, because when they stop talking your dead! Everywhere some one talks about someone, just remember when you close the bedroom door there is only the two of you, life is too short to let a few idiot's dictate what should be.

Just tell yourself that you are not the one with the problem, they are.You can't make people understand so don't try.The only real thing you have to deal with is your relationship with your mate.If you too are fine with it then that's all that should matter.

It doesnt matter:)
When you walk with your girl, thats all that matters. If you love your girl, then any troubles that come are troubles from those people.
All that matters is your girl and your life together.
