IF the prism is a right triangle with length 8 cm, then:

V = 8 x 3 x 2.5/2 = 30 cc

volume of triangular prism = (lwh)/2

so that makes

volume of triangular prism = (8 cm*2.5 cm*3 cm)/2

volume of triangular prism = 30 cm^3 or 30 cubic cm

it is 1/3 of the volume of the total prism volume. do the math on your own.
