Just keep answering...and hopfully get voted as the best answer. Level 2 starts at 250 points and level 3 at 1000.

By the way, you lose 5 points every time you ask a question...and it doesn't matter how long your answers are, (or if they're even correct, serious or having anything to do with the question) it just matters that you wrote something.

Give actual answers and get voted or selected as the best. You get ten points this way, like I am about to, and they add up a lot quicker than the 2 pointers.
See next to your your picture where it says "Level" and then the number is in blue? Click on the blue number and you'll see a whole explanation of the points system.

It's not the length or even the correctness of the info it's how many you answer . Check my Q&A and it will tell you how many points you'll need. Asking questions gets you deducted five points. Best answers get you ten points. I've just progressed into third level and may be here awhile LOL.

Answer lots and lots of questions. Once you get to level 2 (250 pts) you can start voting for the best answer which gets you additional points.

Stop asking so many questions! You lose points with every question you ask. The big question tho, is why you want to go up levels. It doesn't really get you anything but the ability to mire yourself deeper in Yahoo Answers.

at 250 points you reach level 2. click on your points for a description. every answer you get 2 points. if your answer is chosen as best you get 10 points. ever question you ask costs 5 points but you choose a best answer you get 3 back. have fun and you'll get there faster

Answer your max amoutn of ansers each day. The more questiosn you ask, the more points they deduct form your total, so if you wan ta high score, then just start answerign a bunch of questions. Try to answer them the best thoguh b/c then you get 10 points if it is chosen as best answer. It isn't the length of the answer-it is the QUALITY of it. Good luck! And be sure to choose a best answer for the questions you do ask, b/c they will give you a few points back for choosing a best answer. Good luck!

Don't ask questions, that costs you points. You are only 74 points from level 2. That's only 37 answers.

Just answer questions.
At 40 a day, that's 80 total points. If you haven't cut into your 100 point starting bonus, you could reach in two days.
Long answers don;t always win.

You need 77 more points to get to level 2. Don't ask any more questions, just answer them.
