It's been a few years since I took Abnormal Psych, but I thought it was something like 85% of all people labeled with mental retardation fall into the Mild MR category.
I've worked with people with developmental disabilities for 10 years now and I would have to agree that most of the consumers are very high functioning and would fall into the Mild MR category.
